Built to make a difference.
We’re all about making a difference. In the lives of our clients – and our people. Whether you’re interested in building a career at our headquarters or see yourself managing client relationships in a local branch office, there are many reasons to take a closer look at the Edward Jones of now.
50,000 plus. All rowing in the same direction. Each making a difference.
At Edward Jones, clients come first. Aligning each of us in a singular, unifying focus. Whether you’re directly working with clients in a branch office – or in the home office supporting the client relationship with leading edge technology, analytics or products – your contribution, together with the contributions of each and every Edward Jones associate, is doing so much more than helping people achieve their financial goals. Your contribution is helping them work toward achieving their life’s dreams.
Moments That Matter: Financial Advisor Julie Kelly
Financial Advisor Julie Kelly shares a story about helping her clients, Rand and Anna, work toward their dream of a house in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming. Julie helped them build a road map of how they could afford this home and work toward their ultimate goal. At Edward Jones, we help investors work toward their goals by taking the time to listen to what’s important to them and their families. Helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals is our sole focus.
One focus. Plus zero competing interests. Equals one unique business model.
Our financial advisors are our only profit center. And serving our clients is our only focus. This makes it easy to pour all our resources – from the home office to the field – into supporting the one-on-one relationship between each Edward Jones Branch Office Administrator & financial advisor and each client. This single-minded focus is the heart of our unique branch-team model. And it supports our client-first mission: Serving the serious individual investor by offering goals-based advice to help them achieve their long-term financial goals.
Managing Partner
We answer to our clients. And to each other.
As a partnership, we aren’t tied to quarterly earnings reports or shareholders. Because we are privately held, we can make decisions entirely based on our clients’ best interests. Which means every single associate – from the home office to our 15,000 branch offices – is free to focus exclusively on serving our 7 million clients. True to our mission. In it together. That’s the power of partnership.
Collaboration – not competition – defines our culture.
Out of our partnership structure grows a spirit of collaboration. Born of the coming together of 18,000 financial advisors and 53,000 associates all laser focused on one thing: the needs of our clients. Motivated to lift each other up, not tear each other down. Because when our financial advisors succeed, we all succeed.

Headquarters
Alzheimer’s Association & Edward Jones
In 2016, Edward Jones entered into a strategic alliance with the Alzheimer’s Association, committing $12.5 million over five years to create the Edward Jones Alzheimer’s Research Fund and serve as the National Presenting Sponsor for Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. We fight the disease because it destroys relationships and financial security — two things that matter most to our clients. Through walking, educating and advocating, we have contributed more than $30 million toward finding a cure.
A lot has changed since 1922. But our unique business model is built to last.
Momentum trading? No thanks. Financial engineering? Pass. Hedging? Shorting? Options? Not on our watch.
Since our founding, we’ve taken a long-term view of success by focusing on clients’ needs – not firm goals or production quotas – because we know longstanding success isn’t built on short-term thinking. As we evolve to provide goals-based advice – partnering with our clients across the arc of their lives – our client-centric business model is steady but in no way static. Supported by the analytical depth, integrated technologies and vast resources of our home office, our business model not only supports change – it fuels it. A client-first philosophy is our foundation and our future.
